Yoga event stretches across US-Mexico border fence

"A few dozen yoga aficionados rolled out their mats Sunday on both sides of the wall between Tijuana, Mexico, and San Diego. The international group stretched and meditated together before exchanging hugs through the fence bars.
The session was organized by the Border Meetup Group, which promotes cross-border understanding by staging social events on the divided beach."

Well, this is quite an interesting thing to do. I guess I had never thought of it, but whatever works!

Modelo, Mexico's largest beer producer, plans to spread the drunken love to our neighbor's to the north: Canada.

"Mexico's Grupo Modelo is looking to increase its beer sales in Canada through a joint venture with Molson Coors Brewing

Modelo Molson Imports L.P., will import, distribute and market the Modelo beer brand portfolio in all Canadian provinces and territories as of Jan. 1, 2008"

What better way to strengthen ties than sharing a beer.
