Guess where I'll be next weekend........

Chandler, AZ Cinco de Mayo Festival

Jenny and hubby to star in a "not a reality show" reality show

"Jennifer Lopez is set to star in her own reality TV show, allowing cameras into her life to show how she juggles her career with her new duties as a mother to twins."

However, according to Marc Anthony there's no "reality show bulls**t" - TMZ

The show will be airing on TLC. Dammit that means I'll have to get cable. Maybe I'll be able to watch it online though. Anyway...

Bearded Salma

"The actress is sporting the funny facial hair as part of "Cirque du Freak," a new movie where she plays, obvi, a bearded lady in a circus freak show. "

Yes! Finally a movie about real Latinos in Hollywood!

"Walt Disney Pictures has revealed a new poster for Raja Gosnell's upcoming comedy Beverly Hills Chihuahua, starring Manolo Cardona, Jamie Lee Curtis, Andy Garcia, Placido Domingo, George Lopez, Salma Hayek, Edward James Olmos, Paul Rodriguez, Cheech Marin, Piolin, and Drew Barrymore."

How the hell did they manage to get all of these random, extremely famous, and in some cases Hollywood royalty to voice this movie? Not gonna lie, I love dogs and like a lot of these actors so I'm probably going to go see it.

Lucky b*tch!

Ok fine. So maybe I'm jealous of her hot bod. She actually does something about it to get it that way though so I guess I can't complain too much.

"Eva replaced then 21-year-old actress Mischa Barton as the face of Bebe and Bebe Sport last year."

Exercising in the Moonlight

According to this story, Jennifer Lopez has been exercising like crazy to lose her baby weight. I guess the time she has chosen is in the wee hours of the morning.

"The Latino singer, who gave birth to twins Max and Emme in February, is reportedly losing up to 10lbs a week by getting up at 4am and hitting the gym in a bid to regain her famous figure."

10 pounds a week??? Holy hell is this the Biggest Loser? I don't know about you but I like my sleep way too much to be getting up at 4 am just to exercise.

What is the message here?

I always think it's interesting to see American celebrities make commercials or do ads for an international market. This one is a few years old but it shows Christina Aguilera and Elissa, a Lebanese singer, at a soccer game for a Pepsi Ad. Not sure what the song they are singing has to do with either thing, but I guess it worked for the Arab world.

Don't ask me what time it is

Cuz I don't even know. On Sunday Mexico sprang forward an hour.

"Clocks in Mexico will spring forward an hour at 2 a.m. The time change will end the one-hour time difference that existed on the border for the past four weeks, a difference that affected thousands of people who split their time between Baja California and San Diego County."

That makes sense because when I talked to my dad a few days ago he said he was 2 hours ahead from me now. Arizona doesn't do daylight savings time for some reason that I'm too lazy to research right now, so for my family and friends in IL I usually have to remind them of that time difference. I'm either an hour behind or 2 hours behind. As of right now I'm 2 hours behind. And yes, I have been woken up by many a text message at 6 am or earlier by lovely friends who think that I'm awake at those ungodly hours because they themselves are at work or on their way to work :)

In a Perfect World...........according to Mexicans though

Did they think this wouldn't make some people mad? Especially with all the immigration hullabaloo going on.

"The colorful ad, created by the Teran\TBWA agency and the vodka maker, is a sight gag depicting what a map of North America might look like "In an Absolut world," i.e., a perfect one.

It shows the Mexican border extending, very roughly, to its position during the 1800s before the Mexican-American War.

At that time, California as we now know it was part of Mexican territory and known as Alta California. Those territories eventually became U.S. property after the voluntary annexation of Texas and, later, the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo."

I mean, it doesn't offend me. I honestly don't even care. It's pretty clever on their part though.
